for SMW hacking. Isn't that great? I already made my first custom block! It sure was confusing though, but now I get everything.

Well, actually, I still don't. Turns out the Y register won't work if I load it with $00, but works with $01. As I wanted to make a vine that appears and disappears according to the ON/OFF switch, the vine wasn't working since it was on the first Map16 page, range 0-FF, hence I couldn't use it. I could have used a vine in the second Map16 page but there was none, so I was pretty clueless... until I realized I can do it in reverse; a vine that disappears, instead of a vine that appears. I set the block's behavior to 6 and made the tile act like dirt (1F0) whenever the switch is detected as OFF, and it worked. I'm still wondering though, lots of people use the Y register as 0, but why can't I? Every already existing custom block was breaking in my hack! And it surely wasn't the ROM I was inserting it to - since I tried it also on a clean ROM. That reminds me, I never actually tried it in the hack I'm working on. Would that make a difference? I'd feel retarded if it did.

Meh. At least it works.

I am back. Even though nothing really happened to me in the last two months, just another internet blackout.

Here's everything I did during that time, in no particular order:
-I started and finished a game in Final Fantasy III (SNES).
-I finished my long overdue Adventures of Lolo 2 game and started a new one for Adventures of Lolo 3 (NES).
-I listened to around 300 songs in my Media Library, and rated everything I've listened.
-I kept working on the SMW hack.
-I read half of the Actionscript book I have.
-I finished half of my "Mario no Super Picross" (SNES) game.
-I noticed that I didn't have a 100% WarioWare Inc. save, so I played and finished everything.
-I deleted all of my osu! beatmaps, except mine. 20GB saved.

I don't remember anything else, but I might edit this post to add more stuff.

Hmm, yeah, I've been meaning to update this for a while. I've been designing some levels in SMW, applying some patches among other things and, before I move on, I'd like to transfer my ROM to another "clean" rom so no problems come out. Also a good opportunity to apply "clean rom only" patches and rethinking everything I did. I won't be much of a problem now~

In other news, I don't know why I'm still here. But right now I'm downloading DVDRips of The Mentalist, and my sis finished the third layton game some days ago.

Yep. Apparently I got all exits now.

Stupid normal Star World exits. Was wondering why I had 91 exits only.

It's weird. I remembered all Chocolate Island's levels, while I didn't recall any of Valley of Bowser's ones. It was still a fun experience.
Oh, it was surprising for me to see the 96 count with a star, too.

I feel so pro typing in this keyboard.

Well, it isn't one of those flat USB keyboards yet.

At least my previous one with the dirt beneath the keys and broken spacebar (plus a few keys) is resting in peace. It served good for three years. We will not forget!

Can't play osu! or anything else for the moment, unless you want me to play it at 1~3fps. This will be a big downer for me. Other stuff feels laggy too.

Now that the only decent thing my computer had is gone, I feel very outdated. I might have to get a job to get a new compy.

...at least I can still hang out in IRC or keep up with packs. Won't be able to do much though...

Been watching some of The Mentalist episodes. No commercials, no unwanted cuts, no crappy dubs, the subtitles you want, no schedule restrictions... It's awesome. I also watched The IT Crowd that way.

I get my episodes off Megavideo, since my crappy computer runs HQ videos with low framerate or with lag spikes. It's still decent quality (no watermarks or anything), and I don't spend much time downloading (~170mb each). It's the ideal way, I guess.

In case they're off-sync, I use SubtitleEditor to quickly make them appear later or earlier. For the subtitles to work, it's just a matter of putting them in the same folder with the same name. It works on Media Player Classic.

First video after some time now... tried new encoding and recording options this time. DivX sucks.

Oh yeah, and because Game Booster makes me record videos without lag. Or without much lag anyway. My PC is still pretty much poor for recording videos, so forgive the crappy res.

Cheesy name, generic description, and kind-of cheesy interface. At first I didn't believe it would be so good. I thought it'd affect my registry, start at login, use more space in my hard drive and somehow making things slower instead of faster. But hey, guess what: it works like a charm!

I get like 100 fps more when running osu!, and all the lag spikes I have disappear. The bad thing is, I have to close the other processes too or the lag starts kicking in, meaning that I cannot have mIRC or Firefox open. But at least the game is enjoyable again, which I like.

This is a good workaround until I get a newer computer. Well, if it ever happens.

I think using Flash is a bit unprofessional, and I've wanted something else now. I haven't found a similar image editor, though maybe this will change now. The thing I want is the filters feature, similar to Flash's filters.

I'll say it's not going to be soon though. Too used to Flash~

Wow. Seriously speaking, this must be the worst game I've ever played (because it's actually trying to be a game), and that's saying something when you've played Action 52. The people who developed this for 7 years, supposedly, expected you to pay for such a piece of crap. The "DMD Software" site is now down, and there's no documentation about this anywhere. I don't know where I found this that time, but I somehow did. I found it yesterday with Google, in a german downloads website.

I can't get past level 1, but I don't want to spend too much time with this either. It's not what you would call enjoyable the least bit.

If you want to try, you must be aware that there are several surprises waiting for you; random Mario 64 images barely related to the game, buggy jumping "engine", cheap tricks so you die more frequently, horrible level design, coins leaving blocks behind (pass-through blocks by the way), hideous sprites, and the fact that you can't stomp enemies. There's even more; you haven't read the storyline yet.

Creating DTX's is so rubbish

compared to osu!'s editor. One of the reasons I went away from the GDAmania community (and because I was such a retard).

Anyhoo, I'm trying to fix my first DTX's; also mapping my first graveyarded songs in osu!. Man, I sure want to renew myself.

I'm considering myself completely new in the DTX area; I guess I don't have to say about my osu! area. ;)
